Campus Ministry Graduate
Being part of campus ministry has been one of the greatest blessings of my college journey. I first enrolled in the online courses during the height of the pandemic in 2021. As a student at a predominantly white institution in the rural South, it was often difficult to find peers who shared both my faith and values. Yet through this ministry—even in its virtual format—I found a genuine community of like-minded believers who not only encouraged me to stay rooted in my spiritual walk, but also became lifelong friends. I am deeply grateful that God led me to this community—a group of people committed to living sacramentally and loving God and one another with intentionality. Over time, our bonds deepened as we prayed together, supported each other through challenges, and pushed one another to live in alignment with the life and teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The classes themselves also sparked a renewed passion in me to learn more about my faith. The instructors taught with both patience and clarity, creating a space where honest questions and thoughtful dialogue were welcomed. This environment gave me the confidence to explore my beliefs more deeply and strengthened my desire to understand the richness of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
