Atnacia Amare
Student Executive at Virtual Campus Ministry
My name is Atancia and I’m a third year student at Mahibere Kidusan Virtual Campus Ministry. It’s truly been a blessing to be a part of the MK Virtual Campus Ministry(VCM). When I first saw the flyer for the class, I knew it was going to help me in my spiritual journey. I started attending the classes and was able to volunteer in the student coordinator section.
The lessons by our Teacher were filled with wisdom and understanding to help us grow in faith. The teachings have/ are helping me be able to not only defend my faith but also live it. Also, the discussions among my classmates have been impactful. Hearing different perspectives from my classmates on issues I struggle with brought clarity, encouragement, and a sense of community.
In addition to being a student at the virtual campus, I've been fortunate enough to serve in the student coordinator section head. This opportunity has allowed me to grow not just spiritually, but also, in leadership, communication skills and teamwork. This opportunity has enabled me to become better in presenting in front of others and use my time more effectively. This section has allowed me to meet people who are passionate about serving, despite the limitation of virtual settings and time. Being part of this ministry has truly been a life-changing experience. It helped me grow in faith, gain valuable skills, and form connections. I’m grateful for the opportunity.
